Karen Dorece, Vice President of TalentGenesis, and an Associate of Lominger Limited, specializes in the design and delivery of:

Prior to joining TalentGenesis, Karen led Corporate Training and Development at Firstar Corporation (now US Bank) with a staff of Organization Development professionals and five regional centers, where she was responsible for developing the skills of executives, managers, sales and service personnel. In this role, Karen designed and implemented competency based HR processes for recruitment and development of associates including interviewing protocols, multi-rater assessment and individualized coaching for executive and senior managers and a comprehensive leadership development curriculum for all managers.

Karen has assisted senior management teams in leading organizational change efforts including: mergers and acquisitions; restructuring and downsizing; strategic planning and implementation; and developing and
operationalizing new mission, vision, values and operating principles.

Karen has managed both line and staff areas, which accounts for her ability to ensure all efforts support the business objectives of her customers.

She holds an MBA, an undergraduate degree in Psychology/Sociology and Senior Professional in Human Resources certification. In addition, she is certified in multiple assessment tools (DiSC, OPQ, MQ, MBTI), Leading Organizational Transition, Michael Hammer's Reengineering and many other nationally known management development programs.

Since joining TalentGenesis in 2000, Karen has worked with a wide variety of clients including entrepreneurial and Fortune 500 companies as well as several key non-profit clients. She also leads the activities of the Chicago Leadership Architect® Users' Group.
